Reviathan Conscious Fiction: Magic with a purpose
A futurist, fantasy fiction teen series which recounts the story of a new utopia called Reviathan, that humanity tries to form following a long and devastating period of environmental cataclysm. The surviving population forms six tribes who have each developed enhanced human powers allowing them to organise into roles that respect their highest values and abilities. Tension ensues as the future of Reviathan is challenged and the population realise that they are not the only ones with a stake in how the Earth evolves…

Why The Reviathan series was created to support youngsters on their magical journey of self-discovery and in doing so develop their emotional intelligence skills for relating to others.
Each tribe follows a set of values that a young person may find affinities with. Recognising their values and strengths can help them follow their passions and find a meaningful place in society.

Reviathan is used within schools to encourage discussion around current social questions. Teachers in France are using the English publication and anglophone teachers are using the French version to teach foreign languages in a modern way.
